getting back in the swing of things after an amazing weekend at the
ALTERNATIVES 2010 CONFERENCE in orange county ca. i came across this run over bit of paper in the parking lot of my local vitamin cottage. click PRINTS/PHOTOS to see more images So still figuring out this "daily photo" series. i finally feel like i truly broke in the new studio.
there will be images of new paintings coming soon. (except for sundays - my tech free days) and speaking and creating an open studio environment at ALTERNATIVES 2010 “Promoting Wellness Through Social Justice” "Promoviendo Bienestar por medio de Justicia Social" The national mental health conference organized by and for mental health consumers and survivors will be held Wednesday, September 29 - Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency, 11999 Harbor Blvd., Anaheim/Garden Grove, California 92840 (Hyatt reservations - 800-233-1234). Each Alternatives conference offers in-depth technical assistance on peer-delivered services and self-help/recovery methods. Beyond the exchange of knowledge and networking, Alternatives offers a rich social, artistic, and healing environment. moving really takes a lot out of me. slows things down. it has been almost 2 months. and i finally feel "here" unpacked, settled in, and most importantly, ready and able to work. so now - what with this blog? i have been thinking about it lately. result? it is my hope to post something everyday.
